For Jonah. This is a fantastic, moody cover of the Springsteen classic. Nothing could surpass the Boss’ ability to crystallize the plight of the trapped working man toiling in a generations old cycle in a Steinbeckian way, but this cover is absolutely wonderful.

Thank You Sir. Moody, yes..wonderful, yes…i like the gradual build towards solo, halfway through…..

The original version by Bruce was one of the first times a song made say “…exactly! tan and wet down by the reservoir..” could that line get any better?…Bruce absolutely nails it with his working man’s voice….,
