my iPhone 4 was in crappy shape. could barely hear on the phone, front camera didn’t work, camera app didn’t work, lots of small problems. Went to Best Buy to get upgraded to the 4s. Guy asked me if i wanted to trade in the old phone - he said depending on the condition (they would have to run some tests) i could get up to $230 for it. Now i’ve had this iPhone 4 since the day the came out, June of 2010, bought it from Apple for $199.

This guy didn’t even try to test it. Just handed me a gift card (no cash) for $230. So, i give them a half-broke older model phone and i get $230.
